Hi there! 👋 My name’s Raphael, but you can call me Rafe (rhymes with ‘safe’). 

I’m a motion designer based in Durham, North Carolina where I like my keyframes eased and my barbecue sauce Eastern. I like making stuff that gets stuck in my head— a crisp bit of animation, a pivotal line of voice-over, a thoughtfully choreographed transition that loops perfectly in time with two bars of music.

Over the past 6+ years I’ve worked on in-house creative and marketing teams at innovative SaaS companies like DocuSign, Aurora Solar, and Celtra. While there I regularly distilled complex topics into short, shareable moments of video. Now I’m striking out on my own to tell new stories about the world (software and otherwise) that make a lasting, digital impression.
